Overall, as a book there on par with each other, a little silly, just pure entertainment. As a movie, new moon is much better than twilight, a lot more action, great scenery, and of course, the werewolves were awesome :)

I'm not sure if I should include every time that i stay up until about 5 am, or the times that dawn is not only breaking, but has arrived as i get in bed, so i'm going to go with the last time I just never went to sleep, and spent a good 48 hours awake. 

It was last summer, and I had just discovered Torchwood, which, if you don't know, is a BBC show about a secret agency that basically, in bare bones terms deals with aliens, and other stuff like time travel. It's frankly kinda addictive. I had stumbled across some fanfiction for in, and then checked out the wiki page. 

Of course then i jumped to youtube, which is frankly where it all went down hill. One episode quickly became 5 episodes (each an hour long). By the time the birds were chirping outside my window I had watched the episode with the cannibals, and was really to disturbed to even consider sleep. So i did what any other person would do, I watched another episode in order to try and erase the GRAPHIC horror of the last episode. 

Which turned into watching the entire first season in about 24 hours.  

I just went to see My Sister's Keeper on monday with a group of friends. I've never seen a movie that touched me like this one did, it was crushing, parts of it were hard to watch. But it showed that even in the grips of great tragedy, there are moments of joy and hope.

I loved every moment of it, it just felt so real, the movie drew you in and made you feel like you were connected to the characters, so when something went wrong, you felt genuinely upset. I can admit that i cry relatively easy compared to most people, i'm perfectly fine with showing my emotions, i'm not at all emotionally constipated. 

One of the friends i went with had read the book and was upset that the movie ending is different than the book ending. She explained the book ending to me, and i can honestly say that the movie ending is much better, in fact, i probably would have hated the movie if it ended like the book. 

The first time i ever felt that i really won something was when i was in the 4th grade. Our class took won of those tests where there is a list of about 20 random things to do. The instructions for the test however was to read all of the list before you do anything. At the end of the list, the last one said, now that you've read the entire test, only complete number 2, and do nothing else. Number two was write your name in the upper right corner. I can remember sitting there, listening to kids count down from 10 out loud, or yelling out, "I'm first", or their names. Someone the numbers where stuff like, poke a hole in the paper is the left, lower corner, or draw a smiley face next to your name. At one point i looked over at my teacher and he was trying not to laugh, then he realized i was the only kid to follow the first instruction, he just smiled and made a keep quite motion. 

After the test, Mr. Miller told every one that they had failed, except for me, and it felt great. He had a habit of giving every kid their own special nick-name, and he said from that point on, that mine was "Captain, because she's the only one out of you that i would want flying a plane." It seems like such a small thing, but that little speech gave me more confidence in my self than anything else ever had. 


Other then that, the first "contest" I can  remember winning was when i was like 8 or so, it was Bingo at the Ohio state fair, i was the only person under 35 playing, and i won $40, it was great. 

In high school though, I'm proud to say that i won the halloween costume contest every year, freshman year, i was a greek goddess, sophmore year i used my wood nymph costume from the drama club play i was in, The Chronicles of Narnia, Junior year i was this really elaborate butterfly, and senior year i was a living puzzle, I took eyeliner and drew puzzle lines all over my face and hands, and then i used that puffy paint stuff to draw the puzzle line on a shirt, and a pair of pants, so it was like someone put together a 3D puzzle of me. 

"Delenda Carthago est" Latin for Carthage must be destroyed,

I took two years of it, and for some odd reason this was my latin 1 teacher's motto.

"Eso es lo que dija" Spanish for "That's what she said" Try it, it's really fun to say. XD

After getting all B's and above on a test, my class got to get our teacher to teach us different words in spanish that we've always wanted to know, the class had to vote and we couldn't say swear words, the only other phrase i remember is my class wanted to know the spanish equivalent of a "creeper", it's "

"El viejo verde" The green old man, interesting, but not nearly as fun to say. 

Right here right now, i mean, what with the millions of ways to entertain our selves and the low level of responsibilities enjoyed by myself and other teens in my suburb home, what more could i ask for?

With out a doubt, i would find out he truth about Area 51.
